Frederikshavn Blues Fest 2010
Ronnie Baker Brooks (guitar & vocal) plays in Denmark at the Frederikshavn Blues Festival backed by Carlton Armstrong (bass), and C. J. Tucker (drums) during November 2010.
The son of fellow Chicago bluesman Lonnie Brooks, and the brother of blues guitarist, Wayne Baker Brooks, Ronnie Baker Brooks first performed at a blues club his father at the age of nine. After his high school graduation in 1985 he learned to play bass and joined his fathers band. Ronnie went solo in the late '90s and his debut album Golddigger produced by Janet Jackson was released on Watchdog Records in 1998. In 2000 he was nominated for a 'Best New Artist' Blues Music Award.
