Booker White

(November 12, 1909 February 26, 1977)
Booker T. Washington White better known as Bukka White was a blues recording star of the 1930s, also recorded by Alan Lomax for the Library Of Congress during his incarceration at Angola Penitentiary. He was rediscovered in 1963 becoming a significant addition to the folk revival.
