"Big Brown's Chicago Blues"
In 1982 Andrew Brown (guitar & vocals) performs his hit "Mary Jane" live in Gouda, Holland featuring Hans Dulfer (saxophone), Eus Menage (guitar), Jan Willem Sligting (bass), and Ruud Spetter (drums). -Due to a broken string the song ends abruptly, but we won't hold it against him.
Andrew Brown is among the ranks of Chicago bluesmen who did not record much until later on in their careers. He had moved form Mississippi to Chicago with his family around the age of nine and where he learned some licks from Earl Hooker. Andrew became a staple of the club circuit with only a hand full of 45 singles on small labels to his credit until the early '80s when he recorded two LPs. This number debuted on Andrew's first LP release "Big Brown's Chicago Blues".
